This video will show you step-by-step how to create a digital signage broadcast using NoviSign software as a service.
- Go to website www.novisign.com
- Chose Sign up
- Registration (sign up)
- Mail – would be your user name
- Password – min 6 chars
- First name- recommended to add
- last name- recommended to add
- company name- recommended to add
- Screen Overview:
- once you finish sign up you will automatically enter the online application please describe what you see on the screen:
playlist tab, creative tab, screens tab, groups tab- Playlist tab – Create or manage a playlist/campaign that can be broadcast to a screen. A set of creative files that would be broadcast to the screen
- Creative tab – create or manage creative files. Files that will be used to create the playlist that would later broadcast them to the screens. Creative can be images/animations and movies
- Screens tab – holds the inventory of the physical screens. Create or manage screens. Each screen with get a unique key/link
- groups tab – create manage a group screens so you can later broadcast them all at once
- Every new user can enjoy sample creative, sample playlist and a screen.
- You can change this template and broadcast it to your screen or just learn from it and create your own.
- let’s start – we the recommended steps
- Load Creative by clicking the ‘Add Creative’ button. Follow the simple steps
- For our campaign I will load 4 slides, in this case they are jpg files but they can also be other formats such as SWF (flash animation), and movies in FLV or MP4 formats
- After we have upload our Media files under creative we will go to put together a playlist that can later be broadcast to screens
- Create a play list by choosing the ‘PLAYLIST’ tab and Clicking ‘Add Playlist’
- We will add the 4 slides we have loaded before to the playlist
- Drag and Drop the creative to be added to your Playlist
- We will verify the order is (Hi, Welcome, and, thank you)
- You can change the timings of each element in the Playlist by changing the number of seconds (Default: 5 Sec) for each Creative.
- Set the time of the thank you to 8 second as we want it to to display little more than the other slides
- So after we have added the 4 creative’s and created a playlist from them we would like to broadcast it to a screen.
- To create the identity of the screen we will need to define the screen in the system to get the ID or URL link to it
- Setup a new Screen by clicking on ‘Add screen’ in the ‘SCREEN’ Tab
- Name the screen, select the Playlist option (screen group is advanced), then drag a Play list to the designated area and click on ‘Create’
- The screen is configured!
- Click on the link to have a preview of your campaign on the PC.
- So now we are ready all what we need to do is send the link to the store to play on the big screen 42″ LCD at the main entrance of your store
- You can now watch it anywhere by sending the link via mail to any screen that was previously connected to the internet by any way (PC, Mini PC, Smart device, Etc)
- Double click on the new screen,
- Click on send to mail; put the address of the guy at the store. Once he gets the link he can click on it and all the customer can see it on the screen near the elevator
